PHP can't be old, because if PHP wasn't being used right now, we wouldn't get anymore forums.

What some people DON'T understand is that almost every web forum is made on PHP, unless you make an ASP.NET C# one on Visual Studio, or if you use mybb or Wordpress. I bet that even the WRD Forum was made in PHP. Just trust me. All the guys who say PHP is old, read this thread

Old does not mean dead or unused. MyBB and WordPress both used PHP btw. You're right to say that PHP is still incredibly common.

A couple of years ago it was, but not anymore.
