Lightshot and a custom image uploader
Posted
Hello!
I was wondering if there was a way to use lightshot (https://app.prntscr.com/) with a custom image uploader (such as dny.wtf)
I don't like ShareX as it captures per window.
Thanks!

I'm sorry, I should've been more specific. I have a custom image uploader and I was wondering if I could use it with lightshot.

I am not sure if it works with lightshot, because im not the creator of it, nor i have tried it at all.
Just use snip and sketch (default windows app) and use google drive to project it- its my favorite way.
or you can use awesome screenshot, which also works as photoshop.

I don't think there is a way. Gyzao is a much better option though

Excuse me for the semi-necropost, but no - there is not a way to accomplish this.
For starters, Lightshot, just like Gyazo, is proprietary and centralized. This means nothing good as you can't get a hold of the source code or regulate where your images go (or who can see them). All of the usages are in control of the company responsible for the software, for "your benefit", whether you like it or not. Both Lightshot and Gyazo use a centralized image uploading endpoint, which is no good for any user.
The most popular Windows-compatible screen capture tool is probably ShareX, which allows for decentralized uploading to domains running compatible web servers. It is also open-source, licensed under GPL 3.0, and offers a ton more features than Gyazo or Lightshot - so I definitely recommend that.
