Brave's CPU and Memory usage higher than normal

Run a full system scan in your anti-virus, and then see if any results come up.

Turn your pc off then turn the switches off for 5 minutes

Download Opera GX (which is the best search engine). Then after downloading Opera GX delete your current browser (I use Opera GX).

But if none of these work download CCleaner, might fix it and it makes your system and games run better, i use it for my pc, Its free.

Weird for me brave & edge use the least amount of memory

Seen this problem with browsers. Here are some things you can do.

- Check for BTC miners or any malicious software

Some malicious software or BTC miners may inject themselves into your main browser, which I am going to assume is Brave.

- Check for bookmarks

Some browsers may add more RAM and CPU usage to the pile when you have bookmarks. 

- Try reinstalling Brave

That may do the trick sometimes. 

- Check the websites you are on

Some websites such as youtube.com may require more RAM than others. 

- Clean up your extensions

All extensions run in your browser 24/7, this may cause RAM or CPU usage going higher.

I just need to close Amazon 

It was using 8.1% of CPU

That's strange, when I have amazon.com open and a ton of other tabs, I still only get 1.0% CPU and the tab only takes 55 MB max.

1. Don't use brave browser, it has some dark past.

2. Do you see how much processes it has for itself because it says: Brave Browser (26)  i never tried bravebrowser before, but it might be because of your extenstions for it. (Because if you kill some tasks inside of Google Chrome, you have a chance of killing the task of an extension.)

In simple words, I recommend disabling or removing some of your extensions for the browser.
