[HELP] Laptop Turing on but No Display! please read!!!!

So i have this really old gibabyte laptop i found and i am guessing its the video card not working causing no dispay, The led lights show but there is a black screen (no display)
please tell me how to fix this and which is the video card by drawing on the image.

considering it is a laptop, its most likely use integrated graphics, so its prob under the metal thing to the left of the fan
for fixing display unplug and replug the display cable, if that doesn't work try to see if you get a display through its hdmi or vga port on the side
if no display recycle it, too old anyways e

unplug hard drive and test it first thats what happened to my laptop

even if the drive was bad it should still output no boot drive or at least a display showing that smh

A computers BIOS/POST screen is not located on the hard drive. A computer can still post if the hard drive is not present. The hard drive contains only windows or whatever he has loaded on it, not the manufacturers logo or BIOS setup.
If there is nothing that shows up on the internal display or a connected monitor, it can be a bad IGPU, bad BIOS chip, bad connections from either one of those parts or the CPU is fried for whatever reason. All of these are generally hard soldered to the motherboard, and would require special equipment and new chips to replace them with.
If there is display on a external monitor but not the internal monitor, then it is a bad screen or ribbon cable from the screen. This can be replaced relatively easily, depending on what you have to take off to get to said screen.
