Why are HP laptops so bad?

home products and stuff like that are often built cheaply or crappy sofware

heard their enterprise stuff is ok tho

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop. Spec wise it is ok for gaming. It has 16GB DDR4 ram, Ryzen 5 3550h (I hate the cpu), GTX 1650, 256GB of I think it's crucial SSD storage (NVMe M.2), 1TB HDD storage (Idk the rpm), and a built in 60hz 1920x1080 display. Note I have modified it.

I will admit, when it comes to cooling, HP is trash, like my laptop will get insanely hot everyone and again and my performance kills itself, but when it is cool, I like it. It plays games well (GTA V at a solid 90fps). It does what I need but I am looking at upgrading soon. Alot to read ik.

I had HP, and actually I like it. It is 4 years old now, and I had not any problems with it. I also like Asus, my friend bought ROG Strix G15, and it's quite a good laptop for games and for routine tasks. 

Most of its laptops are loaded with Bloatware from HP which most of the time is useless.
They are sometimes made cheap with the plastics and the laptop keyboard dont last much as they use very cheap plastics

Some of these go with Dell as well, there desktops are good when modified like a old Dell Desktop with a GTX 1650 (Low End)

Heard that GTX and Dell works well but i'm not sure.

If you are looking forward with upgrading a laptop buy a ASUS or Razor Laptop as they are pretty much the golden spot

I have a 3-4 year old hp, rather than battery life(I leave it on charge constantly), and the fan(unstable fan curves), it is a really good laptop if you flash windows 10 onto it with a USB. Now I use it as a burner laptop and a server. It's screen doesn't have the best quality it being 720p, but it's very sturdy because I dropped it many times and almost not a single scratch. I can't really say anything about the newer hps.

My friend has a Omen 16 RTX 3070, the quality he said is actually quite good and the thinness is great for transportation to school. I see nothing wrong.
