Community Guidelines

General

Applies everywhere on wearedevs.net.

  1. Be respectful

    • Treat others how you'd like to be treated
    • Do not use racial slurs
    • Respect the privacy of others
    • Do not insult the creations of others
    • Negative feedback should not be insulting, but instead constructive
  2. No NSFW content anywhere

  3. Do not post malicious or disturbing content

    • Remote access trojans
    • Keyloggers
    • Crypto miners
    • Adware
    • Etc

  4. No harassment

    • Posting on someone's wall or forum thread just to annoy them

  5. Do not attempt to drive people away from WeAreDevs' products or services

    You are free to advertise content so long as it does not compete with WeAreDevs

  6. No spamming

    • Duplicate forum threads
    • Duplicate wall posts
    • Unncessary forum replies

  7. Do not be toxic

    • Trolling
    • Flooding
    • Help vampires (Use the search bar/Google before you ask)
    • Defamation
    • Causing petty drama
    • Respect the privacy of others
    • Petty community warnings

  8. No evasion of any kind

    • Creating alts to dodge negative rep
    • Bypassing our filters

  9. Do not drive traffic away from our website

    • Telling others to stop using our content
    • Advertising unwanted WeAreDevs competitors

Forum

Applies to the forums under any category

  1. Post threads in their corresponding forum
  2. Replies should be related to the thread
  3. Do not inappropriately mention members
    • No spam mentions
  4. Understand that the forum is community operated Not all threads are guaranteed a response Especially the repeat threads
  5. Utilize the search bar If your topic has already been discussed several times, it may be deleted or hidden

Reputation

Reputation is a system used on the community to help gain the validity of a member.

  1. Positive reputation must represent your positive opinion of the member
  2. Negative reputation must represent your negative opinion of the member

  3. Negative reputation must be accompanied by good reason

    • Don't negative rep someone just because they disagree with your opinion
    • No payback reputation
  4. Unless truly deserving, do not participate in negative bulk repping a member
  5. Do not give reputation to yourself with an alt
  6. Do not ask others for reputation (Including rep for rep trades)
