It's been a while with OxygenOS, it's fantastic, never had an issue where it just couldn't be solved, broken updates were fixed quickly but as the kind of person I am, I wanna try out different custom ROMs.

Needed some suggestions from people who are using/used custom ROMs.

For ARM-based devices (Assuming that you own something you can call an Android phone), have you glanced over to LineageOS? I'm soon going to try it out, it seems quite promising in both it's customizability, privacy (lack of preinstalled google services) and fairly great standard of security.

Linux and privacy enthusiast. I also like medicine.

As a user of Custom ROMs myself, I am very familiar to AOSP roms like Lineage, Resurrection Remix, and Havoc OS. Currently however, I'm using MIUI 12 for the time being.

I heard a lot about LineageOS so it seems that it's very popular

if something is popular there is probably a reason

i never used it though
