Dove Chat - FAQ

I am creating this to clear up any thoughts on Dove chat.

Q: Is Dove Chat secure?

A: Yes. I update Dove almost daily with new security features and bug fixes. I care greatly about my user's security.

Q: What information does Dove collect/store.

A: Dove collects your Discord username, discriminator and Avatar. We do not store any of this data, any collected data is temporary.

Q: Why Discord RPC?

A: Discord RPC is easier to implement than an account system and doesn't require users to create an account with Dove.

Q: How is this chat different compared to other exploits like Wine?

A: This chat uses a custom & secure Rest API and Websockets. It does NOT operate using webhooks and a Discord server. Everything is custom made.
