Over the past year of me exploiting, I've downloaded some... shady stuff.
Not something like a synapse crack, but sus exploits.
I've done a full scan w/ malware bytes and like 70 things got detected and I had rootkits enabled.
since RATs hide themselves really well, How do I ensure that If I have one, I've removed it.

What I did:
This happened to me as well, so to get peace of mind I recommend getting 2 USBS, one to install windows and another to install linux (linux mint is the easiest to use). First, learn in youtube or in some article on how to boot up into linux, and after you learn how to do it. boot into that linux drive and completely delete your computer disk. Make a fresh download of the Windows ISO and burn it into the other USB. This will definitely get rid of that rat, and you don't have to worry no more about it.
The normal way:
Get into the Task Manager and check for unusual use of Network (the rat sends data through the internet).
Then, simply download an antivirus, the best as far as I know is MalwareBytes, run a full scan and follow thru the process of it. Next, boot up into safe mode and manually search for any suspicious programs and remove them. Also, clearing the temporary files and checking %APPDATA% may help.

@CJ99 Then you should be good!, Also another way of finding rats is by looking in your startup in taskmanger since rats cant start themselfes up unless They are in startup or another program is starting them up, If your having any issues and dont know what to do just dm me, I love seeing how rats work and such :)
