i just dont trust google when it comes to electronics

its been on the news MANY times that google has SOLD user data to china and facebook. a couple months ago (febuary, i think) that google had sold google photos data to 3rd party companies (but dont trust fox news)

My boyfriend uses a Chromebook as his daily driver. It's the only computer he has available to him, aside from his little brother's computer, which runs Windows.
