I wanted to turn on my anti virus but it seems like its not working because when ever i enable periodic scanning, it just turns right back off.

btw its windows defender

i actually never did, do you know how to turn it back on.

AS you can see here the periodic scan wont trun on, when ever i turn it on, it turns right off.

windows defender wont turn on because you have third party anti-virus

so in short, windows defender is off because it was replaced
