7-zip reports the following error when attempting to view KRNL's rar archive

"Can not open file 'C:\Users\username\Desktop\KRNLWRD.rar' as archive."

Is there any specific way to fix this?

Do you realise RAR is a proprietairy format? To have the best experience with RAR files, download WINRAR.

anti-virus prob deleted or tampered with the file

thats why it cant be opened

7-zip can open rar files, though. That's why I was confused.

yea but I've ran into issues where win rat won't open rear files cuz anti-virus tampered with them

so prob same thing happening here
