well thats for me and im having a severe depression by existing and losing friends every minute

-1 is worst, 6 is best (this is in my opinion)

 

-1. textbox (wtf why)

1. richtextbox (no syntax haha gay)

2. fastcoloredtextbox (overused and syntax doesn't look good)

3. Monaco (overused and laggy on bad computers)

4. Scintilla (very hot text box yummy syntax too)

5. Ace (pretty slick but laggy on bad computers, not as laggy as monaco doe)

 

6. AvalonEdit (wpf only, sadly. but its worth learning wpf for)

I recommend Monaco Or Ace.

fastcoloredtextbox isnt the best.
