@Clalhehirx

Id recommend buying a VPS from OVH.com.

Very cheap prices and they are FAST. I have the $11 plan and its great.

This is just my personal VPN that i can control. Its better to do this instead of paying for a VPN

VPSes are very prone to privacy issues, ironically you can very easily get rolled over by your VPS provider, it's pretty well-known that they can and probably do access whatever you have in your container, so your VPN could easily be turned against you.

@Aquatic

then dont be a retard and use a shi*ty provider. Its way better than a VPN provider because they all sell your data and half the time stuff isnt encrypted right

@Ducxy Not sure why you're saying that it somehow instantly makes you a retard if you choose a "bad VPS provider", simply because there's no 'official good vs bad VPS provider' list.

Your cryptography knowledge isn't really on point either, pretty much anything to and from your computer is encrypted in one way or another, just that HTTPS doesn't cover the domain names themselves.

Sorry if the post in any way sounds insulting, but what I'm trying to point out is both the unreliability of all VPS providers and at the same the overuse of VPN services.

Also something to keep in mind is although all traffic is encrypted coming in to the VPS, it's not encrypted when it's relayed to the appropriate IPs/sites themselves, so it's still possible for one to get a rough grasp on what the VPN user is doing, if they have access to logging the VPS itself.
