Big news? Yes, but it depends from who's perspective you're looking.
5.10 is the new LTS kernel and will be replacing Q4 2019's kernel 5.4 and will be the new king kernel for sensitive LTS distros for at least a year.

Popular / influential changes:
* Added support for Intel's codename 'Rocket Lake' 11th generation 14nm microarchitecture.
* Added (initial) support for Intel's codename 'Alder Lake' (10nm, hopefully) and 'Meteor Lake' (7nm) microarchitectures.
* Enhanced support for AMD's Zen 3 microarchitecture, implemented hardware (temperature) monitoring as well as general performance improvements.
* Added (initial) support for RISC-V processor EFI booting process.
* Spectre vulnerability mitigation rewritten for ARM-based processors.
* Enchanced support for AMD's RDNA 2 graphics processors (performance improvements, from what I know.)
* Added support for USB Implementater Forum's USB-4 standard, which promises transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps.
* Added (initial) support for NVIDIA's AGX Orin AI chip from back in 2019.
* Added support for AMD's SME, SEV, SEV-ES - which implement memory encryption among other virtualization features.
* Considerable performance improvements to both EXT4 and BTRFS filesystems.

Many more small compatibility additions, bugfixes and other changes are actually present, this is by no means the full list. The kernel being LTS puts the priority of patches and compatibility additions to the highest.
