[INFO] What will happen to Synapse X

If you clicked here, then you either have Synapse X purchased and wonder what's going on, or you just want to see what I am about to say.

So basically, if you are on the S-X Discord server, you definitely know about the announcement. If not, I present it to you below.

Now, some important things:

-- Yes, Synapse X is becoming subscription-based. This is to make sure that we have the resources necessary to keep delivering the same scripting experience after the addition of plenty of new obstacles.

— No, you won't have to pay $20 a month (god forbid). We still want to make Synapse cheap as cough cough so instead, you will have to pay $6.50 or $8.50 a month, depending on whether you pay w/ crypto or a card. The minimum time you can buy is three months and you can buy up to 12 months at once for your account.

— Other bad companies (cough cough streaming companies cough cough) make you forget you're paying a subscription so they can make fat stacks off your memory loss. Us? We'll gladly remind you when your subscription is going to end so you can press that "I don't wanna pay" button if you really don't wanna pay for another 3 months.

— If you already own Synapse X, you'll get a 5$ discount off any renewals you make for a year. This means if you renew for three months, then you'll get 5$ off that amount. It's not 5$ off the rate BTW, it's 5$ off the amount. We want to be cheap, but not so cheap as to go bankrupt. Doesn't matter if you got it for free or not. That's on us.

— Also, if you already own Synapse X, you'll get your first three months free. Also doesn't matter if you got it for free or not. Still on us.

— We will credit you for any downtime we may possibly have. Say there's a huge update and it takes us 5 days to update, then you'll have these 5 days entirely free. Same applies to pretty much anything you can think of that constitutes downtime, like maintenance, banwaves or whatever.

— In case it wasn't clear enough in the original document, you can freeze your subscription at any given time (with a 2 weeks cooldown, similar to our HWID system that has a 24h cooldown). This means if you get bored of Synapse X but still want your account and you think you'll pay for it later, like when you're on your summer vacation or something, then you can freeze it and unfreeze when the time is right.

— All owners of Synapse X, currently licensed or not, will have access to this Discord server. I know for some you this is your only friends, not everyone is pretty IRL, so we're not taking that away.

— And finally: this doesn't start now. This transition begins later. We'll tell you when, but for now everything is the same. We're still thinking of some details and some policies, so anything we announced could change at any given time.
