Own Exploit not working problem in API?

I made my own exploit with exploit API v2 and followed the tutorial, i have coded everything correctly but when injecting it says Couldn't download latest version. Can anyone help me or is the API broken.

Reinstall the api and make sure your av is disabled

Still does not work still says Couldn't download latest version. Anything else i can try?

Try unisntalling it
Note deleating the short cut doenst count 
Right click open file location and delate that folder
Then reinstall it

Well i have no shortcuts and if you meant reinstalling the WeAreDevs_API.cpp.dll well i did that and still says Couldn't download latest version.
