As stated in the title: White-lists don't matter if it's not payed or doesn't contain ads.

 

It doesn't matter if you think it's cool or not, what it does is slow down the user's use of your creation and annoying in general. Annoying being my opinion, of course. But I'd like to think that others agree too.

 

If a McDonalds needed your email for a burger, would you give it? Of course not! The burger at the local In-N-Out is 50 times easier to [pooping] eat!


this was just something that could be useful to someone, while being just me ranting.

Some people add logins just to blacklist people. Creators may want to blacklist someone for trying to reverse engineer their program.

 

I do agree that it is extremely inconvenient for the users and will likely make them leave. I'd recommend they do computer specific blacklists rather than account blacklists.

+1 I agree, I mean key entries are fine so the developers can earn some pocket money on the side for their work but actual whitelists turn me away.
