Try Malwarebytes or Bitdefender. They are both pretty good at detecting actual MALWARE, and if it doesn't, try the Cyber Emergency Kit.

Also describe the malware. Is it a Cryptminer or bitcoin miner?? Keylogger, Cookie logger or IP Logger? Trojan??

That's probably some adware.

What did it tell you during installation?

The big download button has advertised offers and is clearly labeled. You can easily reject them if you'd just read. The "alternate download" link doesn't have advertisements, so maybe you want that one instead.
