I haven't updated my phone past 13.3.1 because of bluetooth issues with an app, so I am able to jailbreak it.
Only thing is, I need to know if I should use either of the below:
AltStore or Cydia Impactor
Never jailbreaked my phone before so any info would be helpful.

He is not talking about jailbreak the game.

I'd highly recommend altstore since it signs apps wirelessly and automatically, however, the issue with altstore iirc is AltStore requires you to pay to Riley Testut's patreon to put your own apps which is stupid, so i would leave that option to only if you aren't jailbreaking phones (which you are).
In this case, Cydia Impactor is a good option, because you can use it to install something like Chimera or UnC0ver or something of that sort, Jailbreak your phone, then install RePr0vision which does the exact same thing as AltStore (but doesn't require a computer) to sign the Jailbreaking apps on your phone.

What do you mean by paying for my own apps when jailbreaking with AltStore?
Does this mean that downloading apps using AltStore requires me to pay with the Patreon?
Or does that mean I'm unable to transfer ipa files I make (using a program from somewhere) into my iPhone?

To download apps not on the AltStore, aka IPA files you downloaded like those Jailbreaking apps, they do require you to pay to Riley Testuts' patreon if i remember correctly, since they were considered a beta feature, don't know if it's like that anymore however, it's been a few months since i last tinkered with an iPhone.
