Like imagine that!

Sure asp.net core is a little bit better but i would rather eat poop than code in ASP.NET.

I mean look at how much better PHP code and Nodejs code look like!

Also with ASP.NET you are stuck with Visual Studio for editing and a Windows Server (yes, that exists 🤣🤣) for deploying.

It would already be dead if ASP.NET Core (a cross platform variant) did not exist.

Also, don't tell me about "oh there is that thing called Mono" because Mono is obsolete (kind of, it's not really but .NET Core replaced it). Also don't tell me "well it's compiled and statically typed". @Hectique My school's portal is written in ASP.NET i wonder how much they pay to Microsoft per year.

Maybe ASP.NET is not paid now idk. i heard about fees for it idk if its real

EDIT: Oh so the only fee would be for Visual Prison Professional (it's a good editor though ngl) but you can only write ASP.NET code with that.

ASP.net is good under certain circumstances but overall it's bad compared to node.js and even php in some aspects
