What would be the best Linux Distribution for general usage and somewhat playing games. I currently use windows but I've been thinking about getting a new PC and then running Linux on my current laptop.

Of course it's Arch It really depends on what you want. For new users, Pop OS is pretty good, and Manjaro too.
If you're using a laptop having 2 GPUs with one of them being Nvidia i'd avoid Manjaro if you don't wanna fix the nvidia optimus issue if it hasn't been fixed already. Kubuntu is also really good but expect to need to update some software and libs if you wanna play minecraft without having 10fps, it isn't hard tho.
also if you're using a ryzen 4000 series laptop CPU i'd try to go at least linux 5.7, so if you choose pop OS or kubuntu make sure it's not an LTS release (20.10 is good, use that).
For gaming, Arch Linux is amazing (and Manjaro too), but Arch Linux is made for experienced users, so the installation can be quite hard for new users, however, everything after that is gonna be easy.
If you just want things to work without doing anything for gaming, i suggest PopOS 20.10 (or Manjaro if it's not a laptop using an nvidia GPU).
EDIT: Manjaro and Arch work properly with Nvidia drivers now, aquatic told me about it, as long as it's not kernel 5.9 you should be okay. However, i suggest still testing it out.
