I posted a threat earlier on why adf.fly and others are malware and 

Now onto the exploits itself

1. Have an anti virus set up, although it may delete the file see what anti viruses pick it up

2. Use virtual machine: Keep your pc safe, use one, it works like a normal one, test them there

3. Always be alert on who gives you or who your downloading it from!

MalwareBytes: https://www.malwarebytes.com/
*Good, using it, extra protection*  rating: 9/10

Superantispyware: https://www.superantispyware.com/
Best for catchign loggers,spyware, adaware, trackers

Its not like many little kids know what a VM is, even if they do, im pretty sure they dont know how to set it up 
I use vmware workstation pro with a key I found online :)
