hi guys i want to learn lua so I can make a roblox api to understand code so it would be nice if you told me good websites to learn lua

bruh idk anyhting about api's but you should learn c++ for apis

and best place to learn lua is roblox docs, and lua manual. DO NOT go to youtube for tuts

You should look through roblox docs. Roblox Lua is slighty different than just Lua. It's the same language, but the "context" is different. Like player bodyparts, objects, GUIs, etc etc
