Multiple game instances now causes roblox to loop update if opened

I've used the multiple roblox instance application for literal years, and have never ran into this issue. I've tried reinstalling roblox numerous times, as well as making sure theres nothing wrong with my files in appdata. I've also seen people with the same problem, but no solution regarding it
EDIT: I think it may have something to do with the latest roblox update, but even then, why would it randomly cause the application to break after years?
