I discovered this feature and got the problem that i need to refresh the page for check if someone sent me a message, this is possible or is just bad idea?

Its not meant to be a live chat. I want to keep it as low as possible on resources.

I've pondered using websockets for premium members. Definitely not anytime soon. I want to integrate other areas first, such as DM warnings from the bot

Most forum private message systems are supposed to be more of a practical emailing system, not something like Discord
