Hey, you ever wanted to get into designing on figma and start conceptualizing your next idea but don't know how to start?

Let me show you a multitude of sources which you may find interesting or conservative while designing.

None of these are personally made by me, but I use these resources on the daily for any type of design

Whether it be slideshow presentation, thread designs, UIs, or just in general concepts these are

a great bonus to use when starting off. This isn't a typical WPF Guide.

Resource # 1

Icon Packs

What are icon packs you may ask? Well to keep it short, they're are generally open sourced and free

to use svgs, pngs on several designs. Various types exist for specific design systems (Skip to Resource #3 for design systems)

What do I use?

I often use several open sourced icons. Depending on the color scheme, theme and aesthetic of your

design. The icons can ultimately "make or break" your entire look you're going for.

Resource # 2

Font Selection

I often see several people failing to actually incorporate a good font onto their project, this is common

as the most popular font within this community seems to be Poppins.

Poppins itself is great for almost any figma concept there is but the lack of variety has led

to a constant and repetetive aesthetic in several designs.

What do I recommend as an alternative?

I personally love poppins as well, but make sure to try Inter, Montserrat, Mulish. You

wont regret using these.

Resource #3

Design Systems

Out of every other resource this will be the one you will most likely enjoy using.

Design systems are a matter of patterns, colors, effects and generally help digital products

You might as well know a couple such as Material Design or even Carbon Design as an example

Why Should We Use Them?

Well in short there's no reason NOT to use them, they motivate designers to make up

what they believe to be appropriate for their products / experiences. Usually

inspiration is taken up from these already pre-existing systems.

Are They Free?

In short, yes but no. Depending on your design system you pick they may have it open

sourced or licensed with a monthly subscription. Remember designers need bread too.

Eitherway you can just recreate theirs on figma with ease knowing what's on it.

Designs are often empowered by the resources surrounding them. Almost every

design takes inspiration from the real world or the internet. So don't be afraid

to work from something you have on your plate.

Good day hope you found the post useful
