CPU coolers are generally set to be blowers instead of intake.
The I9-12900k suffers from a issue with its heat spreader. The IHS is curved either inward or outward and most coolers not explicitly designed for this also don't fit its larger surface area 100% of the time. Theres a bracket that you can buy to fix this issue and id recomend it for intel's top of the line as its heat output is atrocious.
