I think that the addition of a badge that is given when a user is actively on the forums (active in the form of replies and forum post) would be a good start, example badge name (Well Known Member). This will then grant the ability to the user, to be able to change their name once.

Just an idea, thanks for the suggestion.

I like the idea of the active forum badge it could encourage users to be more active. also giving the user a one-time name change would be nice maybe they messed their name up or just want to change it, but if they wanted to change it more then once they would have to buy VIP or even make a new account.
