Fishy af? I used to own Bleu and they made me pay $20 (not bad for what it did!) but the devs were very... not nice... and made us re-register or something, and i lost my key because I barely ever exploit, just if needed or bored.

Typically the devs still do get paid for what they make and update. They use a few ways but the most used ones would be link shorters, YouTube videos and keys with ADs.
