Try disabling your fire wall see if that helps

And what anti viruses do you have installed

The failed to check for updates message only appears if something is blocking JJSploit's access to https://wearedevs.net/. Considering you're able to visit the forum to create this thread, something must be blocking JJSploit specifically. Check if you have another firewall installed.
