Why you should not use Freenom

I know that a free domain seems interesting, but trust me, freenom is not interesting at all.

I will give you a few reasons why i think it is bad.

1. They have too much control over your domain

They can take down your domain and display ads on it whenever they want. Typically, it's when your 1 year thingy expires but that might be bad for what you are doing.

2. It's not permanent

Keep in mind that you will only have that domain for a year, and for that year, the experience is gonna be horrible.

.xyz domains are pretty cheap (1$ per year) so use that instead and go with a good domain registrar like google domains, godaddy or namecheap (aka ui broken and they never fix it but cheap).

3. No who.is thingy

If Roblox needs to message you to ask you to remove some stuff, they won't be able to. Instead, what they could do instead is contact freenom and just ask them to remove the dns record. I know that you are gonna say it's better like this and stuff, but google domains and namecheap offer protections against dox for that by using their own emails but dedicated for you for that kind of stuff.
