[Problem] Why does my browser say Managed?

@JalapenoGuy This isn't a joke, I am actually pretty worried. I don't want some creep logging my browser cookies.

@SUPERSMASHERBROS I am not even signed onto google right now, I must be infected... I just don't want to lose all the data on my PC.

@Hectique Try fully reinstalling chrome. Or use another browser.

@JalapenoGuy Tried reinstalling chrome, didn't work. I switched to Avast Secure Browser because it is just secure chrome.

Stan told me about a vuln he found that affects the Chrome browser and it has to do with this functionnality.

So there are 2 options. 1 is that you actually chose to connect to some school account and let the school access your computer, which is rare and if you didn't know about it, it means it's not that. 2 is you got infected with a virus and that it uses this vuln.

Delete chrome, also delete all chrome files. then scan your pc with a good antivirus then use Firefox because it does not have this vuln.

If this did not work, reinstall Windows. It's the best option to save your PC.

it is quite literaly based off of chromium now.

just because a browser uses the same rendering engine and the same js jit compiler does not mean they are the same or almost the same.

a lot of chrome extensions wont even work on edge, even though its chromium based

@Hectique I just recommend clearing every trace of chrome and check. If not, then your mum is watching you or you got infected.
