No, Windows 10 Home is free and Windows 10 Pro is free if you have a windows 7 license key

Install Linux mint or something lite like that, you will have a better experience. Also, just buy another PC, Windows 7 support dropped so it's literally like using XP.

hes probably only playing roblox, and roblox is not on linux

minecraft runs very well though, and other games such as CS:GO and others too (if you have a rolling release).

btw if anyone reading this wants to switch to linux for gaming, i strongly recommend a rolling release, that way you wont have to deal with the hassle of updating drivers and stuff. i know people are gonna say you can do gaming on a non rolling release distro, but unless you wanna get 9 FPS on minecraft, then dont do that.
