ok first monaco and ace are dumb recommendations, they require a browser :face_vomiting:
you can use them (monaco is better) if you want to, but they arent native
i suggest fastcoloredtextbox, its actually pretty good and you can make it beautiful

Monaco, if not then go to wpf and go to ICSharpCodeAvalonEdit.dll's Text Editor. It looks better than Monaco, no intellisense (auto complete) with syntax highlighting. FastColoredTextBox.dll's font sucks it uses Courier which is a monospaced font that is really "pixelly", and you can't change it. I personally don't like FastColoredTextBox. For fonts, I would prefer Monaco (yes it's also a font), Consolas, Noto Mono, Unispace, Cascadia Code, Cousine, Droid Sans Mono, Hack.

FastColoredTextBox sucks ? False also and you can change it (If you can't you're a new user)
Monaco ? Sure if you want your WPF window peformance----------- (Same goes to Ace)
