What in particular are you looking to host? If it's simply a website with no backend, Netlify and GitHub/GitLab Pages are very good options that are also very user friendly. If you want a backend, well I suggest renting a VPS from DigitalOcean, Linode, or Vultr. I know that self hosting is the cheapest opttion but many people simply do not have the internet bandwidth and speed necessary for something like this and self hosting is less practical than cloud hosting. 

I think 2JJ1 has a DigitalOcean affiliate link that will let you support WRD while signing up for DigitalOcean but i've lost the link, you can search on his YT channel for it.

I'm hosting a website

000webhost.com > go make account > when made account make website > When made website go in website and click tools then Set web address and use a NS (NameServer) or a point, If you are using a NS it will be faster & better because it will be able to do SSL and you want SSL! Now go back to the home page if you have added a web address. When you are at the home page go click go to the website builder if u dont want 2 code it or click file manager if you code stuff! u hav to use cloudflare too get a ssl w/ it and it will be long oof
Same goes w/ github but u dont have an option to do click go to the website builder if u dont want 2 code.

I like github more tho so use gitpog....
