I'm not exactly gone, just busy with moderating other more important locations. I only ever visit this occassionally to do -10s that other mods need help with, or to check out the new threads in sections that I actually care about.

Cuby is busy with his actual education at the moment, as others said, he has exams to go through.

0x90's response is especially butthurt. It confuses me as to how one can be this clueless about someone. Me and others write paragraphs simply because of how much information we provide and the need to actually reinforce and provide evidence for said information, not to "seem like a genius" or "more educated" (Although most of what I talk about I do have expertise in, such as digital security and hardware). I also wouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly, you take pride in calling our "beliefs" stupid outside of arguments, yet you have difficulty countering them when you're face-to-face with someone in anything more than flamewars and lashouts (exactly what your reply is, you hold no proper point neither do you make any sense - indicated by the fact that you have more insults in your reply than attempts at an argument). I'd be embarrased in this scenario, if I were you.

Let's pick apart this statement without paragraphs, cuz using proper English and backing up statements is an issue I guess: 

1. "bro nobody likes the guy because he thinks he's some sort of genius."
Quotation and citation needed for when he thought of himself as a genius. This is for the same reason I can't say "This guy is just salty he isn't mod." 

2. "Him and his friends try to write paragraphs of text in an attempt to seem more educated, but nothing they say makes sense lol."

Google or any other way to search the internet are powerful tools. If you don't understand something, you can learn about it. If what Texas or anyone else has said doesn't fall in line with what is factual, as said before, quotation and citation needed. 

3. "That loser tries to involve his political views in everything, when they're just flat out stupid."
How are your statements against Texas (which are not backed up by anything you have cited him as saying) not the same interjections of your own personal beliefs? Whether it's politics or personal thoughts, you can't say he inserts his own politics into his replies, then call him stupid in the same sentence. 

4. "When somebody is as dumb as that guy it really just makes me angry."
The keywords are "... makes me angry." 
Idk man, weep I guess? I don't see why your own feelings are cause for other's concerns on a forum. 

@allennova writing in proper English and writing a 2 paragraph response doesn't make what you say any more valid, it just goes to show that you care about what I said far more than I myself do. 

There isn't anything to "back up" or "prove" when I'm stating my opinion. There aren't any facts to present in terms of liking or disliking somebody, that's decided by an individual. 

What you've done is the same thing I've done in my reply to the post, except you tried to look more professional by writing more text than me, "picking apart" what I've said, and expressing hypocrisy.

If 2 sentences equal a paragraph, a short story would be a manuscript. When you talk about you not caring, I fail to see the relevance or even the logic. Why did you write the reply then? To highlight an issue you see? Or maybe to put your thoughts in words? I don't get how you can write a little blurb then say "I don't care" after you get called out. It's the same logic as "I was trolling the whole time lul". 

The issue I have when you say, "he thinks he's some sort of genius." is you presenting it as a fact. You don't say anywhere that your statements are your own opinion, only calling him a loser, his statements stupid, then saying it's all just opinion when I ask for what citations you have for your statements.

Why does text length matter? I've barely passed you in substance in my first reply in my own words. Most of the sentences in my "paragraphs" are quotations from what you said. If word count mattered, it would be as simple as using more words to explain an idea instead of dumbing it down.

Where do I state that I believe you to be something you haven't said? Where do I state that nothing you say in your replies makes sense? Where did I express a personal feeling of rage or bewilderment when you said something? These are exact examples that I would be hard-pressed into being hypocritical of. The only thing I might be wrong about is saying the forums does not need to concern itself for peoples feelings, though I don't see this as a radical viewpoint.
