to be honest this is just a really good marketing strategy, they have these "wrapped" albums and everyone is posting there top songs on social media where more people will see and download spotify its free advertising and with the amount of people posting there "wrapped" its more helpful then a youtube ad, really smart marketing strategy if i say so myself

Spotify does this thing where every year they release something called "Wrapped" and it shows your stats for what you listened to
