So we all know that we need money to like gets stuff and survive right? Why not make everything free. You see if the goverment makes everything free NO ONE has to pay for stuff. So no one will be homeless. No one uses money everyone just gets stuff for free. if you buy a house the stuff you need to make the house is free and the stuff that makes the tools are free and etc So we dont need money. Because if EVERYONE becomes to not pay for stuff this would become real.

Don't schools teach that kind of stuff in social studies class?
So basically, before, the currency was what you have. It could be anything, land, milk, meat, bread, etc. People were exchanging things for others because no one can have everything. Everyone was a producer and a buyer. The problem is that sometimes it was too difficult to check what to trade for what, so currency was invented. Everything was set to a price for trading which could change over time, and if you gave what you produce to someone they would give you money in exchange. Money made it easier for everyone basically.
Obviously, i oversimplified a lot of things, people didnt randomly get money and the history of money is much more complex. Also, i studied that kind of stuff in french so i might not have the right words, sorry for that.

if no one had money then who would make houses and stuff because everything we have was built by someone(s) and they were most likely getting paid and if they weren't getting paid what would be the motive to do stuff for others?

@JOSHMISTY Well they wouldn't want to get paid in the first place since money wouldn't be worth anything but I don't see wat other motive they would have :/
