Actual updates

I agree with this "partially", I'm assuming Jon is just busy, I don't want to skip the the worst case scenario, but I do agree there should be a couple of more developers that keep the site up to date with the top exploits at the time, Slurp is still on the front page and that hasn't had a change in years from what I can tell.

Also, the moderation needs to sort itself out, you've been -10 rep'd for discussing a milestone you achieved, I get the spam reply part, but a milestone in discussion seems alright to me, if it's keeping the forum on it's last life (from my perspective) it's good.

Jon only keeps WRD alive for the revenue, it was a pain in the eggs to convince him to just add the hardware subforum, with many other mods.

I dont believe we're actually getting a proper update because jon is working on his blog nowadays (https://wearedevs.com/).

so yeah it'd be pretty hard to convince him to actually make a proper update.

if you dont like it, its staying here forever until jon decides to revamp the website so just get to know it.

(all you suggested and said was already used and suggested in an attempt to let jon update the website by me and funtimes and some other mods)

dunno if they're still trying to get it updated as i no longer have access to what happens

Because convincing Jon to give it over to a bunch of mods that he met online or a bunch of randos known as the "community" is prob not happening.

Guest and active users are still much higher than when I became a mod here.

Idk from what I've seen the forums are still growing slowly, plus this is a forum, not a chat room.

From my experience here, this forum is more for newcomers to exploiting, and as long as it stays like that, the forum will slowly grow.

If you ask me what the future is for this forum, my best guess this forum would later be moved to wrd.com and become a more general tech forum like LTT.com along with the discord server.

Autho just outright shutting down is a chance, but I give this one a 40% of happening while above a 60% of happening.

Not like giving ownership, but more like hiring people to develop, he makes a lot of money off the site, surely he can spare some dollars.

I Have To Agree With Funtimes, The Community Is Not Dying, If Anything, WRD Is More Popular Than Ever Before. When I First Joined, There Was Maybe An Exploit Release Once A Week, Now Its Almost Daily

I first sampled these numbers at the start of the new rule update on Saturday night GMT, it was 11 people.

Before, it was 17 people.

The difference is 6 people.

35.294 % decrease.
