So I recently went back to my old computer and it is so incredibly slow. Any ways for it to speed up?

 

I took out the user and stuff but Im dumb so I hope I didn't just leak something

@Zera I would execpt for this is a windows laptop itself and I don't want to mess with it. After all it is 4 years old

@Moon Switching to linux is the only choice for an old slow computer. Linux is small and quick.

You can actually boost this buy getting a new hard drive or ssd (if u gonna store a lot of files you need hdd else u need ssd) 

 

my laptop is 7 years old but still works :D just replace hdd or ram (cpu if u can :D)

@Astronemi berh your cpu is  much better than his 

clocks 2x faster 

 

also your cpu is a intel 6th gen that underclocks 

default clock on your cip is 3.2 not 1.7 ghz

@Moon You need faster hdd or ssd, I personally recommend ssd if you aren't gaming on it
