@0x777_ I couldn't think of anyone who wouldn't log unidentifiable information about the user in case of malicious use of the chat lol if the chat wasn't there I wouldn't add a logger

Its not perfect by any means.

@Zera I never said the chat is more secure than dove? Nor did I say that I would be 'blacklisting people who are hacking the chat'?
I said that the server will keep the ips of online users incase of a issued ban by me, this could be bcz they are spamming, racisim, etc. The server will automatically add the users IP to a list and if they attempt to connect to the chat they will be instantly denied. The majority of the chat is hosted server side, from authentication to sending msgs. The chat isn't going to be insecure at all, people could probably still spam the websocket but I'm going to be adding server protection aswell.
And by the way the chat is hosted on a websocket node.js server, in case you didn't know.
