@crazy_cat I'm assuming that RVM is like a vanilla Lua interpreter that runs on foreign states (not to be confused with wrapping). Sort of like an LBI but not in the Lua side.

For my question, explain to me how function hooking (native subroutines and Lua closures) works, and explain to me if there's ways to hook native functions without modifying the assembly in the main module's memory.

@RealNickk ok so i'll just say how it sounds for me lol
so function hooking is basically hooking into a roblox function (for example :Destroy() idk lol), and I think it is possible to do that without changing the memory. excuse me if i'm wrong, never did that type of coding (no i am not saying i was using headhunter or smthing before as for now the biggest thing I could do in C++ is the console virtual protect kekw)
