Pretty sure he doesnt, he checks them if they're reputable among the community or not and then finalizes the decision based on the deal. Theres a reason why hes more careful now, look back on redevs x (token logger front-end first free wpf exploit).

redevs x is the first free wpf exploit on wrd made by Charliezkie. it turned out to be a logger that takes information from its users and sells it. heres charliezkies profile.

Yes, Electron is safe, Electron been since 2020 and Electron have a reputable of the easiest exploit to use!
If you aware if Electron is not safe, You could use Virtual Machine to test it.

Electron was in WeAreDevs like in 2021.
