Hi,
I had the idea to make a Minecraft server for WRD, that will be open for all players.
It's not going to be 24/7, but I'll try to refresh it as much times as possible.
I'll probably get a Raspberry PI soon so I will be able to make it 24/7 later.
Anyways, tell me what you think.

as long as cracked clients can join, i will play (haven't bought mc). Anyways, good idea.
(im buying a raspberry pi too, but probably will use it for hosting reasons)

the issue with cracked clients is that they can legit impersonate the owner and have full control
If there was a whitelist system that worked with cracked clients maybe
Also, I recommend getting a used x86 system for the same price as a raspberry pi 4+ tbh
Prob will be miles better and you would prob be able to host the mc server on it
Unless you want power efficiency, get the pi.

It'd lag with just one player if its hosted on a Pi, if you're expecting more than half a player on the server at a time. rent a server.
