when you say macos is good for programming you mean stuff like python, js, and ruby. but windows massive support for programs like c#, c++, c, and also comes with support to the programs macos has. overall its the best OS if your not advanced enough for linux. macos in my opinion is for the average american worker where they dont know alot about computers and just use it for entertainment or browsing emails

Windows is better for programming windows programs. macOS is the dominant OS for programming outside of just windows apps and supports C# and CPP very well aswell as other languages like Obj-C, C, Swift, JS, Etc.

All of this is my opinion so yeah:
1. Windows
2. Linux (most likely)
3. macOS
Windows is alright for me and I've used it for the majority of my time, macOS was a pain in the ass for me since It's not really my type of "style" though it is a good OS for certain parts.
Linux: I can't really say much since I've never used it and I'm too lazy to figure it all out lmfao
