Which laptop to choose?

I would recommend the first one as the Ryzen 7 5800h beats any 11th gen intel CPU
however, if u can save a bit more money, I would recommend buying a newer laptop with a 12th gen intel CPU

I would take the  first laptop cause the amd cpu run intel over

Defo the first laptop, it will have more than enough power for video editing, gaming, 3d modeling, etc.

I use MSI, never rly had a bad expierence with it 

I'd rather take the 2nd one as i like intel more

what ever laptop you choose, just remmeber it will be loud af and poor battery life.

but out of those two im leaning towards msi just due to msi's laptop bios (hidden advance bios) is basiclly like a desktop bios, can edit a lot of settings so great for tuning

also if you plan to leave the laptop plugged in, dont keep the battery at 100% keep it near 50-60

ik theres a way to set charging limit with msi laptops as im using a msi laptop rn that only changes to 60% but idk about other laptops

from some quick research online the two cpus there are pretty neck and neck, intel does look slightly better but due to different cooling id say thats would be within the margins of error

Its more of what you do and what is better for compatablity, even if Ryzen is better you could have worse performance if the CPU doesnt have good Cooling which form's throttling which is bad for 3D and Gaming etc etc. Intel is actually a lot better on development as it supports ALL Type CPU applications (Run's both x32 and x64 apps)

Its Compatablity choice's, both have very good spefication and both will probably do well on bigish games, the RTX 30 Series Mobile maybe chug a bit since its a 3060 Mobile with only 16GB's of Ram unless it is on Dual Channel Memory which wont chug as much data.

Notes:

The games you specified is a lot better on Ryzen.

Can support x86 Apps from Intel

- Intel

Intel does a lot better on management and programing

Does both i386 and x64 (Who uses ARM Chip based CPU's)

x86 Performance is better on intel (They made it)

- Both

Good Memory Mangment (Both is good on it)

3D Rendering (A bit better on ryzen but still good on both)

Both run x86 Applications

Another thing is x86-64 which is AMD-64 but it is kinda trash of what I heard but I'm sure it is good.

CONSLUSION:

- Intel:

In general the Intel is better for compatablity and can run a lot of games, development is better on intel too.

- Ryzen:

Ryzen is wayyy better for gaming tho as it does have better Core's and Thread's.
